The New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA) is given to all* 11th grade students during the month of March. An adaptive test is used to assess student progress toward graduation standards in the areas of Writing, English Language Arts and Mathematics. Participation is a state graduation requirement.
*a with who has the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) listed in their IEP will not sit for the NJSLA assessments. See the DLM tab for additional information regarding DLM testing.
